A blend of Mavrotragano and Syrah from a twenty-year-old, low yielding, stony vineyard. The wine is matured in a barrel for 18 months, followed by a further 6 months of bottle ageing before release. As a result it holds complexity, with aromas of red fruits – sour cherries, plums – vanilla, and tobacco. This full-bodied wine boasts a long, intense finish, with an additional layer of flavours including dried figs, dark chocolate, coffee, spices, and roasted chestnuts.
