The Óroman is a blend of Yiannoudi (local to the Koloni area where we find the vineyard) and a splash of Syrah. After extended maceration, and once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels which are three to four years old, before a further year in-bottle ahead of release. The result is a rich, velvety wine with intense but rounded, well-integrated tannins. It is beautifully complex with black forest fruits, notes of rosemary and thyme, and a long finish with sweet spices and hints of freshly roasted coffee beans and bitter dark chocolate.
