This sumptuous McLaren Vale Shiraz is rich, deep and red in colour, generous on the nose with cracked pepper and spicy red fruits, alongside coconut and blackcurrant, then lifted by toasty cigar box nuances from judicious maturation in high quality oak. The palate is awash with bright black cherry, balanced by a leathery earthiness and succulent, fine-grained tannins. The fruit for this wine was harvested with careful row selection, to yield only the best possible fruit from the finest parcels.
