This Petit Chablis comes from the younger Portlandian soils found across the wider Chablis appellation, rather than the ancient, fossil-rich Kimmeridgian limestone underpinning the region’s classic style. Unmistakably Chablis in its freshness and precision, ‘Le Padabu’ offers a more open, fruit-led expression, with blossom and honeysuckle on the nose, alongside lemon zest, while flavours of nectarine, crisp red apple, and ripe Conference pear emerge on the palate.
