An excellent PC Nuits-Saint-Georges, structured, full of vitality and awash with rip red and black fruits, delicate spicing, orange blossom, dried grapefruit and an earthy meatiness.

Arnaud’s 0.30ha plot in this Premier Cru was planted in the early 60’s, and the wine does not lack for concentration and complexity because of this. The palate is succulent, with the typical Nuits’ bite, grip and structure, but with finesse at the same time. The palate is awash with cassis, black plum, red and black cherry, and damson, alongside delicate hints of spices, orange rind and violet. It is structured yet seductive, velvety, with gorgeous, ripe tannins and a generous core of fruit. There is mulberry and morello cherry, among the earthy, toast and spice notes to finish.
